An engineering company that makes fuel from waste.

Beltram Biofuels is an Australian producer turning used cooking oil, plastic and captured carbon into certified, drop-in fuel. We are built like a fuel plant, not a campaign.

Why we exist.

Australia's domestic biodiesel output fell roughly tenfold between 2014 and 2022, while fuel imports kept climbing. At the same time, used cooking oil, plastic and CO₂ go largely unused.

Beltram exists to close that gap. We take waste that is already on the ground, refine it into fuel that meets recognised standards, and put it back into the engines and aircraft already in service, made here in Australia.

What makes us different.

Our own production

We make fuel, we don’t just resell it. Feedstock is pretreated, converted, recovered and tested in our own process, near the source of the waste.

More than one feedstock

Used cooking oil and waste lipids today; plastic waste, captured CO₂ and microalgae across the roadmap. Diverse inputs, not a single fragile supply line.

Australian-made

Refined here from feedstock already on the ground, which keeps the value of that waste in the country and cuts reliance on imported liquid fuel.

Drop-in and certified

Built to ASTM and EN standards so it works in the engines and aircraft already in service, with no retrofit and no new infrastructure.
